Jerome’s family has quite a background in the Plumbing & Heating business. Originally Jerome’s grandmother Gitty Zaransky’s parents that immigrated to the United States in 1905 founded Scranton Ice & Fuel(coal), in CT, USA. Later this became Tower Equipment. In time, Gitty married Jerome’s grandfather Coleman Kramer thankfully having his father Wayne Kramer plus siblings Dr. Sara Kramer & Dr. Philip Kramer and together the family founded and successfully managed KEM Associates, a major northeastern Plumbing & Heating wholesaler for two centuries. Jerome grew up every year accidentally learning parts doing inventory for KEM Associates, Sondik Supply, and The Granite Group to earn cash.

Wayne and his 2nd son Jacob Kramer (Jerome’s brother also in the business) regularly supplied the late and family friend Master Plumber Harry Flad (Enfield Plumbing & Heating). After ten years of service as a teacher, Jerome joined Harry learning all of the ins and outs of household plumbing and some commercial. Jerome is well aware of NH State Code, National Uniform Plumbing Code, International Plumbing Code (IPC). Towns also have their own codes, required permits, and so on. Jerome certainly knows 03240’s codes and regulations!
